Vishnu - Our Latest Animal Assistant
Vishnu was working for the local municipality in Pushkar driving a refuse collecting tractor.
He often called Kamlesh Katri, our Pushkar based trustee, with details of animals needing rescue and care - Kamlesh realised he was just the man to be based in Pushkar for a permanent job liaising to do on the spot treatments for injured animals.

Kamlesh has sponsored his training at the hospital and future salary to do this vital job. Vishnu will go to the animal, determine whether it needs to be taken to the hospital, wait with the animal until it is rescued or with his medical kit treat the animal there and then.
He’s been warmly embraced into the TOLFA animal assistants brotherhood and can’t stop smiling about his good fortune at being able to help the street animals.
