- Metacam Oral Suspension
- Bandages - cohesive and conforming
- Angiocaths / jelco catheters
- Vetaclean/Virkon disinfectant tablets
- Anti-limescale products
- Plant spray bottles
- IV Stands x 3
- Slip leads for dog walking duties
- Operating light - cost £170-215 (Rs 12,000- Rs 15,000)
Hospital Equipment
- Heat pads - available from UK
- A Centrifuge, pcv (capillary) tubes and plasticine
- Standard Tool Kit - drill, screwdrivers etc…
- Dental Kit from UK - £100
- Heaters for puppy kennels
- Towels
- Blankets
- Roll down metal shutters for kennels to keep them warm in winter - cost is dependent on weight of iron at the time of making
- Air conditioning (for operating theatre) - cost £285 (Rs 20,000)
For Staff
- Wellington Boots
- Non-disposable aprons
- Scrub tops and trousers
Office Furniture & Equipment
- Internet connection from hospital - costs £15 per month (Rs 1200 connection and Rs 500 per month unlimited use)
- Unlocked mobile phones
- Laptop - cost £360 (Rs 25,000)
- Photocopier - cost £60 (Rs 4,000)
- Fax machine - cost £70 (Rs 5,000)
- Office furniture: desk (£140 or Rs 10,000) and 2 visitor chairs (£70 or Rs 5,000)
- Coolers - cost £115 (Rs 8,000)
The exchange rate between the £(GBP) and rupee (Rs) is always fluctuating. The above costings are correct as of September 2009 and have been calculated with £1 = 70 Rs but are subject to change.
