Heat Pads Save The Day

When Jo came over to volunteer with us in October 2009, she took heed of our Wish List and arranged to bring over some heatpads.
Our sick pups always need some extra heat - especially in winter time - and an electric heatpad is just the thing for them to snuggle up on. It keeps them [...]

The big day last year was a huge success with [...]

Slum Dogs of India

There’s exciting news for one of our Trustees, Eloise Leyden. After being a volunteer at TOLFA and travelling around India, she became fascinated by the dogs of India and proceeded to take hundreds of photographs whilst on her travels.
Her photographs have now been compiled into one beautiful book that’s guaranteed to pull at [...]

Shiny New Cattle Shade

When I started TOLFA, I don’t think we really appreciated how many cows we would need to rescue on a daily basis. After dogs, cows are our most frequently rescued animal.
Every street is littered with them, wandering through the traffic and eating the rubbish. Cows that are owned but released into the community [...]

You Can Make A World of Difference At TOLFA

World of Difference gives 8 people the chance to do just that. It’s a programme that was established in 2008 by The Vodafone Foundation. All you need is the vision and passion to want to work with [...]
