The Camel fair is an annual ‘animal trading & selling’ event in Pushkar and sees the streets fill up with hundreds of thousands of people and many, many more animals. It’s quite a sight from a tourist point of view, but for animal welfare it’s a disaster!

They were then collected by Heather McCabe & Victoria Chadwick, 2 of our previous volunteers and lovingly transported over to the shelter in Pushkar.

On Friday 11th November the national India TV channel NDTV came to film at the hospital. Everyone was very excited and the staff got to show off their new uniforms from Verma Boss.
