BVNA Congress 2007
Every October The British Veterinary Nursing Association (BVNA) holds an annual congress which is attended by hundreds of Veterinary Nurses, as well as many veterinary colleges, charities and companies promoting their products and services. This year BVNA descended on Kettering and I followed them up there.
We were very lucky that Royal Canin agreed to sponsor the cost of the stand so that we were able to attend and promote the charity, particularly our Project Raja Volunteers Scheme, the Royal Canin food promotion and our Animal Money Tree poster.

Over the weekend I was helped out by Kym, Kelly and Jenni so many thanks to them for all their efforts and hard work. We had a great time and found we had a fantastic response from everyone who came to talk to us about our charitable work.
Everyone who stopped at our stand loved looking at the pictures of our volunteers, seeing and reading about the variety of work they had done and what practical experience they had gained at the veterinary hospital. They were all amazed at how far the animal hospital had grown over such a short space of time.
We had such a great mixture of veterinary nurses, trainees and even a couple of company reps who all seemed keen to come over to India and help us out. We hope to have gained many more supporters from the exhibition and who knows, maybe we will be at Kettering again next year!
Oh, and well done to Diane the VN who entered our raffle and won our ‘Ginger’ teddy.
