Fundraising Idea - Table Top Sale
A Table Top Sale is a bit like having a car boot sale indoors.
The benefits are you can sell unwanted items, earn some money to donate to your favourite indian animal charity and you won’t get cold or wet in the process.
I recently did a table top sale in a local church hall. It started at 10.30 so I didn’t have to get up at the crack of dawn and I could also sit down with a cup of tea and a homemade chocolate cake from the lady on the table next to me.
I made £10 which might not sound like a lot but in actual fact that will pay for 32 dogs to be vaccinated against rabies or cover the cost of neutering 4 dogs that will help reduce the stray dog population. At our animal hospital in India, every little helps.
What can you do?
Find an existing table top sale and sell items or maybe you can arrange to hold one yourself. Hire out the local church hall, get a few friends to help man the stalls and get some collections going so you have stuff to sell on the day.
A stall with homemade cakes, one with books, a raffle and a table selling handmade crafts always goes down well.
Any money we raise goes to helping dogs like Flapper who need treatment or an operation.
